Your profile photo

Ideally a baby photo of you — an adult photo works great too.

What this is

Less like an application. More like an introduction.

Browse real families

See families who are hoping to connect with a donor — their story, where they are, how they'd like to work, and their timeline. Reach out to the ones that feel right.

Share your story

Your profile is the real you: ancestry, traits, why you want to help, and the ways you're open to helping — AI, shipping, IUI, or IVF.

Talk privately

Conversations stay between you and the family. Nothing is public, and you set the pace — reply when you want, and only to people you choose.

How it works

Four steps, start to legacy.

01

Create your account

Email and password, about a minute. No paperwork and no clinic gatekeeping.

02

Build your profile

Basics, appearance and ancestry, the ways you can help, and your personal story. Add a baby or childhood photo of yourself — families trust a real face.

03

Browse and connect

Your profile goes live so families can find you, and you can browse the families hoping to connect. Message anyone who feels like a fit.

04

Help your way

At home, meeting locally in a public space, or shipping across the country. What works for you is what you share upfront.

What you share

Plenty for families to trust you. Nothing you didn't choose.

Families can see

  • Your profile photo, username, age and state
  • Height, hair, eyes and ancestry
  • Your personal story and why you want to help
  • The ways you're open to helping: AI, shipping, IUI, IVF
  • Badges when you say you're willing to share — or already have copies of — health, genetic, ID or blood-type details

Stays private

  • Your email address and login
  • Any document you upload for trust details
  • Your messages, one to one with each family
  • Who you've saved, and which families you've messaged
  • Anything you simply choose not to fill in

Hatcherly doesn't screen or verify donors medically. Badges only show that a donor is willing to share those details or has copies on hand — families still ask their own questions, and donors should get their own testing done with a doctor they choose.

The difference

A donor experience with a name attached.

Sperm banks turn you into a code and send you on your way. Hatcherly gives you real people, real conversations, and a say.

Questions donors ask

Straight answers.

Do I have to go to a clinic?

No. Most donors do everything at home, meet a family locally in a public place, or ship. Clinic-based IUI or IVF only comes up if the family you're working with is planning that, and you can say no.

How much time does this take?

Setting up your profile takes about five minutes. After that it's whatever you want it to be — some donors message a few families, others browse quietly and reply when something feels right.

Will I get paid?

Hatcherly never pays you for joining or for donating. That said, some families do pay donors on top of covering materials — that's a conversation between you and the family, and it should be raised and agreed up front, before anything else.

Will people know who I am?

Only the families you choose to talk to. Your profile shows your username, location and the details you fill in — not your email or anything you keep private.

What if I want to stop?

You can stop whenever you want. You're never obliged to message a family, respond to an inquiry, or keep helping anyone.

Is Hatcherly a sperm bank or a clinic?

No. We're a matching platform — we don't store, sell, screen or guarantee anything. Medical and legal questions are between you and the family, ideally with your own doctors and lawyers.

Why a baby photo?

Because it builds trust instantly — families see the person behind the profile, and it keeps things warm and human instead of clinical. An adult photo works great too if you'd rather.

Somewhere out there, a family is hoping to meet someone exactly like you.

Make your profile, browse the families, and see who you'd like to talk to. It's free for donors and takes about five minutes.
